Delete your Tara account

In the app or on the website

1. Open the Tara app, or sign in at taraaa.in/app.
2. Go to Profile.
3. Tap Delete my account.
4. Type your phone number to confirm, then tap Delete permanently.

By email

If you can’t sign in, email vijayda9711@gmail.com from any address, with the subject “Delete my account” and the mobile number you signed in with. We may ask you to confirm that the number is yours, then we delete the account within 7 days.

What is deleted

• Your profile, name and mobile number
• Your birth details and saved requests
• Your palm photos
• Your readings, questions and messages
• Your purchase records and any remaining readings or credits

Deletion is immediate and permanent. Copies in database backups are removed as those backups expire, within 30 days. Google Play and Razorpay keep their own records of your payments, as the law requires them to.

If you have a Timing plan

Deleting your account does not cancel the subscription. Cancel it first in Google Play (Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions), or with Razorpay if you subscribed on the website, or you may continue to be charged.
