We review your request
Our team checks every request first. If a birth detail or photo is unclear, we ask you rather than guess.

A detailed, personal reading, saved in your account. Our target is two hours, and you can follow its progress in the app.
Why people choose Tara
Astrology deserves care. These are the promises behind every reading.
Calculated, not guessed
Planet positions come from the Swiss Ephemeris, with the Lahiri ayanamsa and whole-sign houses. Your birth city’s historical time zone is applied for your actual date of birth.
Reviewed before it is written
No reading is prepared until our team has checked your request. If we decline it, or you cancel while it is waiting, the reading goes back to your balance.
No fear, no invented doshas
Your reading uses only what was actually calculated. Difficult placements are explained honestly and paired with practical steps, never with scare tactics.
Private by design
Your birth details, palm photos and questions stay in your account and are never used for advertising. You can delete your account at any time.
Frequently asked questions
What is Tara?
Tara is a personal Vedic astrology service. You can request a Kundli reading, Kundli matching, a two-hand palm reading or a dasha timing report, and ask follow-up questions. Every request is reviewed by our team before your reading is prepared.
Is Tara free?
New members get two free Kundli readings, two free palm readings and two free questions. After that you can buy more in the app, where prices are shown before you pay. Kundli matching and the monthly Timing plan are paid. A request our team declines, or one you cancel while it is waiting, goes back to your balance.
What do I need for a Kundli reading?
Your date of birth, your birth time as recorded, and your city of birth. You can mark the time as exact, approximate or unknown. The more precise the time, the more precise your ascendant, houses and dasha dates.
How long does a reading take?
Our team reviews each request first, and our target is to have your reading ready within two hours. If something needs clarifying, we ask you in the app.
Which astrology system does Tara use?
Vedic (sidereal) astrology with the Lahiri ayanamsa, whole-sign houses and the Vimshottari dasha system. Kundli matching uses the traditional 36-point Ashtakoota, or Guna Milan.
Can I use Tara on my phone?
Yes. Tara works in any modern mobile or desktop browser. You sign in with your mobile number and a one-time code.
Is astrology a substitute for professional advice?
No. Tara’s readings are a traditional framework for reflection. They are not predictions of events, and not a substitute for medical, legal, financial or psychological advice.
